Sweet Baby

Yesterday, I had my last for shoot for 2009. Lovely Annalise. She is 10 days old. A very sweet baby.

I'm taking time off to spend with my family during Christmas and New Year. Looking forward to 2010. Happy Holidays!

Pretty in Pink

With the help of Shira's parents, we got so many great expressions. We dressed her up in tutus, a pretty bloomer, angel wings, etc. She was a vision in pink.

Lovely Chloe

I photographed Chloe last Sunday, and it was a very cold day. She never complained. We got some stunning images from this session.

The image of Chloe by the door reminds me of a little girl from the early 1900's.

This image I used a light off to the right side which created some wonderful lighting making it look like a painting. That is what I love about off camera lighting it gives the photograph a more dimensional look.

Francis, Freddy & Maddy

I had the pleasure of photographing Francis, Boston Terrier, Freddy, Yorkie, and Maddy, Coton de Tulear for family holiday cards. I was lucky to have Sara Borman, assist me on this shoot (thank you Sara). It really helped to have another person to get them to look at the camera as I was composing the photographs. Children Photography

It has been over a month since my last blog. I have been so busy with 15 family portraits in the month of November! Here are some of my favorite photos of children that I took during the family shoots.

Love this adorable photograph of the boy and the ribbon wrapped around his Mom's tummy. His baby sister is due to arrive on 22nd of December. What a great Christmas gift.

Doors make for some fabulous backdrops with children. Especially huge doors. In most cases the children are not as tall as the door knob.

Wishing everybody a peaceful and fun Holiday Season.
Thank you for such a great year!
Kathryn
